Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the Lock In Chinese website at lockinchinese.com and, once it launches, the Lock In Chinese app. By using the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to them.
Pre-launch status
Lock In Chinese is pre-launch. The app is not yet available. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, a guarantee of availability, or a promise of any specific feature, price, or launch date. Details may change before release.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist means we may email you once, around launch. It is not a purchase, a reservation, or a subscription, and it costs nothing. You can ask to be removed at any time by emailing hello@lockinchinese.com.
Using the site and app
You agree not to misuse the site or app: no attempting to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems, and no using them to break the law. When the app ships, it is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
Purchases
If Lock In Chinese offers paid features at launch, they are sold through Apple's App Store and managed with Adapty. Those purchases are also subject to Apple's terms. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies.
Intellectual property
The Lock In Chinese name, the site design, and its original content belong to us. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission. Educational content you create or study progress you generate remains yours.
Disclaimer and liability
The site and app are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. Lock In Chinese is a study aid; we do not guarantee any particular learning outcome. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or app.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version; continued use after a change means you accept it.
